Melanie Ravenswood and the "Phantom" of Phantom Manor, Disneyland Paris, inspired somehow by Phantom of the Opera in general.
Maybe I'm the only one who thought they would make an interesting couple. Like, before the setting of the ride. Unfortunately, I've botched the Phantom's design -- in the scene in the ride, his lips are curled back, but he kind of looks like a Martian here. Oops.

Awesome - I'll have to check it out! Yeah, I just feel like it takes the conflict out of the story, somehow - like, it being her dad almost makes her seem like a disobedient daughter, in a way, but it feels like there's more conflict if they're not related. I have my own version of it, too, that maybe I'll get around to writing someday...Hmmm...
I know... It's kinda like, why is her father in the story if he is not the phantom? I say, that the anger of father some how brought her dead lover back to life, he killed her fiance, and you get where this is going. I'll tell you when I get the story up!
I'unno if I wanna spoil my story, but mine's sorta similar...Mel and the Phantom were engaged and he worked with her father in the mine, and was killed (supposedly) in a dynamite accident, so Mel meets someone else and is supposed to get married a year later. The Phantom went crazy from his injuries and crashes the engagement party to get to Mel, but she rejects him, so he gets Mme. Leota to help him out.
It's still kinda rough right now, but maybe I'll work it out someday.
