Melanie Ravenswood and the "Phantom" of Phantom Manor, Disneyland Paris, inspired somehow by Phantom of the Opera in general.
Maybe I'm the only one who thought they would make an interesting couple. Like, before the setting of the ride. Unfortunately, I've botched the Phantom's design -- in the scene in the ride, his lips are curled back, but he kind of looks like a Martian here. Oops.

I am going to make a videoclip with music, special effects and phantom manor artists. So i ask your permission to use this picture in it. of course i will link you to the movie when it is finished on youtube and your name will be called in de video. hope you agree!
Awesome - I'll have to check it out! Yeah, I just feel like it takes the conflict out of the story, somehow - like, it being her dad almost makes her seem like a disobedient daughter, in a way, but it feels like there's more conflict if they're not related. I have my own version of it, too, that maybe I'll get around to writing someday...Hmmm...
I know... It's kinda like, why is her father in the story if he is not the phantom? I say, that the anger of father some how brought her dead lover back to life, he killed her fiance, and you get where this is going. I'll tell you when I get the story up!
I'unno if I wanna spoil my story, but mine's sorta similar...Mel and the Phantom were engaged and he worked with her father in the mine, and was killed (supposedly) in a dynamite accident, so Mel meets someone else and is supposed to get married a year later. The Phantom went crazy from his injuries and crashes the engagement party to get to Mel, but she rejects him, so he gets Mme. Leota to help him out.
It's still kinda rough right now, but maybe I'll work it out someday.
This is amazing!!! LOVING IT! Love the Phantom of the Opera thing... so true, so true...
There is one thing that kind of disturbs me here... lol... a lot of people believe that the Phantom was actually Melanie's father, who died in an earthquake before, and didn't want them to get married.. which makes it all the creepier...
Ha! Anyway, this is great. I hope to see more PM fan art here on DA!
Maby love cursed him into his death and even still beyond his death, because people are not able to show him the true meaning of love and caring, because he is a death yet living corpse skeleton, who is hatred and cursed by everyone... (maby also before his death? It's just an small idea )
Great job on this; I love the style. He's kinda cute in a rotting, corpsey Crypt Keeper sort of way. This looks like it could be from a comic book or animated series--very simple and fun, yet conveys great personality. Your line work on this is just fantastic.
Ow, very nice! Melanie and the Phantom are looking as a very touching, intresting and a dark unfortunate couple... I think you will really like my PM novel, cause the relationship between the Phantom and Melanie are similiar of The Phantom of the Opera love story
